No pictures but a few things we wanted to memorialize in our blog (and share with all of you, of course).
First, Pops announced his retirement yesterday! Yeah. We are so proud of him and excited for him. I am hoping this means more play time for me and Casey (and Bobby) and we know the Browns are hoping for more trips to South Dakota!!!
Second, Casey has been doing a few things that we wanted to share. He continues to try to eat... He is starting to get better although a large amount still ends up on his bib. He is not a HUGE fan of the cereals but he loves sweet potatoes (that was my favorite when I was his age too). We are trying squash this week... He is not sure what to think of it yet but we will keep trying.
And, Casey continues to work on "crying it out." Mommy and daddy have some easy nights and some harder nights. Once he is down, he has been back to waking up twice a night (just because he does not eat enough during the day) - around midnight and then again at 5AM. But, last night, Casey enjoyed his FIRST EVER 8 ounce bottle! He drank the entire bottle. He still woke up at 5 and at 6 but just cried for a little and then went back to sleep. But then poor mommy was sad when she got him at 7... he was sleeping in vomit! No wonder he cried!
We had a 2 hour delay today. Still not much snow and I just don't get it... Last year we had so much. I keep asking mommy if we can make snow angels and jump in big piles of snow... We just have not had that kind of snow yet. Hopefully soon.
That is all for now. Casey is screaming so we better run!
