We really cannot come up with a valid explanation as to why we have not blogged since Valentine's Day... Nothing. Mom has racked her brain trying to come up with a good and valid excuse but we have nothing...
And if that is not pathetic enough, this blog is going to be mostly pictures of our recent trip to South Dakota. That's it. Not a huge update on how we have been the past two months. You know that feeling, when you have put something off for so long, it is just hard to get back to it... You know, like exercising or flossing your teeth. So you take baby steps. That is what we are doing here. We will try to be better but, for now, here are some pictures of our recent trip to South Dakota.
Reagan had spring break over St. Patrick's day so mommy took me out of school (it is only preschool but she told me this is the last year we can do this) and we went out for 6 days to see my cousins. We had a great time. Here are some pictures from our trip. Feel free to visit my Aunt Karen's blog (link is on this blog) to see additional pictures. She is much more on top of this stuff so you might even get a better idea of how much fun we had!
Casey LOVES Star Wars and Harrison had FULL-SIZED light sabers for him to play with!
The water table was so fun - and so wet!
It was so nice, we went to the park. Casey LOVED running around!
He also loved sliding!
He and the twins spent time on the big swing!
Reagan and I made a super-fast slide but sitting on our jackets (the jackets were really to protect us from the hot slide but the bonus was how fast we went)!
Breakfast on St. Patrick's Day - green waffles, green muffins, green milk!
We went to a farm to see brand new baby calves. Casey LOVED the little guy we met, he ran right up and gave him a kiss!
He loved the ponies too!
I rode both ponies!
We sat in the farmer's jeep!
This is a HUGE pile of... you know! Casey loved it and kept running towards it trying to jump in. Ewwwww!
Poor cows. They were so cute but they are heading off to Europe, and not for a vacation.
Here we are posing as leprechauns.
Casey was not that into posing with us!
He got into the water table again - this time mommy tried to at least keep his clothes dry!
The next day, we went to the shed to play with Papa and Grandma Brown. Reagan drove me around in her Barbie car. Mommy and Casey are in the golf cart and Harrison and Maddie were in the Jeep (they actually got stuck in the mud and needed Karen to pull them out)!
We played with all the toys!
Casey sat in a John Deere tractor!!!
And played with more toys!
I LOVED the scooters!
Reagan then drove me and Aunt Karen in her grandma's golf cart. She is SEVEN! How is she driving already???
The next day, we had to go home. Mommy let me use her camera. This is one of the two images I captured (the other was the bathroom sink)!
