First, poor Casey is sick again... Mom and dad were worried because he had been tugging on his ears. He also has not slept through the night in a little over a week (and still waking up at 4:40, 5, 5:30). Last night when he woke up, he was burning up. A few hours later, he still had a little fever, even with ibuprofen, so mommy took him to see Dr. Sexter. His ears looked fine but he did have a red throat. It was negative for strep so they figured he probably just had a bug that would hopefully pass quickly (and was probably NOT the reason he stopped sleeping through the night all week). Mommy brought him home and he woke up from his nap with a fever of 104.8... the rest of the day it went up and down. He is doing okay now, a little fussy but sleeping. Hopefully he will get some sleep (and mommy and daddy will get some sleep) and he will be all better tomorrow. Poor little guy. He did get weighed at the doctor and had gained A TON of weight. He is now 16lbs, 11oz! Big boy ;-)
Now - back to me! We held our own Kentucky Derby at school this week (yesterday and today). Mommy was fortunate enough to be able to attend yesterday. Here are a few pictures of my classmates and I during the parade, right before the race and just after! It was fun. We even had Kentucky Derby pie and virgin mint juleps!
Here I am walking down during the parade on my horse, Ariel.
I was number 100.
It was such a great week at school. Hope everyone has a nice weekend.
